The journey of this company takes us back to 2012, when Ryan Kessler (CEO) embarked on a mission to tell captivating and unique stories through the power of visual media. It's truly awe-inspiring to reflect on the fact that his initial films were crafted using a humble $80 Sony camcorder. Despite the technical limitations, he realized that going solo was an arduous task, until he discovered a group of like minded individuals who shared his passion.

United by a common vision, six talented individuals came together to establish "Nut Allergy Media" – a name that symbolizes their dedication to breaking barriers and defying expectations. Their purpose extended beyond creating their own narratives; they aspired to empower others, offering a gateway for all to bring their visions to life, irrespective of their background or experience. The ethos of inclusivity and accessibility became the cornerstone of their enterprise.

As the company flourished and gained prominence, a multitude of opportunities emerged, with storytellers from all walks of life seeking to have their voices heard. They sought to partake in our renowned production experience, a realm where productivity, creativity, and innovation converge to elevate projects to unprecedented heights. Nut Allergy Media has grown to employ a talented workforce of 20 individuals, and their impressive repertoire boasts over 12 films, some of which have garnered esteemed accolades and recognition.

Fuelled by a commitment to pushing the boundaries of what independent creators can achieve, they continue to redefine the possibilities and inspire a new generation of storytellers to fearlessly pursue their dreams.

A Logo, an identity

Our standout signature logo remains a unique symbol that represents the core values and traditions of our company. The green backdrop symbolizes new beginnings and growth while also reflecting our commitment to sustainability and structure. The white and black figure eight pays homage to Chinese philosophy dating back to the 3rd century BCE, illustrating the intricate process of the universe and everything within it. It is also interpreted as the "energetic vibration of personal power, hidden power, shared resources, determination, material and financial gain, the pinnacle, recognition of work, lifestyle upgrades, rebirth and generation, and transformation," as eloquently quoted by astrologer Jacquelyn Tierney.

With a strong passion for storytelling, Ryan is dedicated to leveraging his business and hospitality expertise to bring the public a new era of stories by collaborating with creators and business owners. With his team of experts by his side, Nut Allergy Media acts as a leading company in the media industry.

Marco Minadeo, C.O.O


Marco Minadeo is a producer, first ad, and all-around creative lead with numerous projects under his belt that range from shorts, features, web series, social media content, ads, documentaries, music videos, website creation, and event planning. Marco believes storytelling is important because it allows us to relate to each other on a deeper level through the emotions shared, lessons learned, and the meanings derived from the stories we tell. How stories are told is what Marco's passion is by focusing on the logistics, technicalities, and complexities to help craft memorable and passionate stories.

Nika Del Mar, Company Manager


Nika Del Mar is a multifaceted actress, model, writer, producer, and director. Just recently producing, directing & starring in her own film “Dude, Don’t Go” alongside producing numerous short films, music videos & a podcast. Additionally, she has appeared in notable projects like Eli Roth’s “Urban Legends”, BET’s “I Love You to Death” & a province-wide commercial for Dairy Farmers of Canada.

Joey Barbour, social media specialist


Joey Barbour is a graduate in graphic design and advertising and is now currently assigned as the social media specialist for Nut Allergy Media. Joey crafts engaging digital content and builds the online community for our brand and clients. With expertise in social media strategy, analytics, and storytelling, Joey plans to foster meaningful connections with our audience and customers with the goal to use social media to elevate brands and create impactful digital experiences.
